5th Class Students Become Authors
Earlier this month, the Fifth class children in room 24 each wrote a personalised book for a Junior Infant child in room 9. The children worked very hard on their books which took them a couple of weeks to write and illustrate. Some of the characters included princesses, fairies, action and super heroes, animals and robots. The Junior Infants were thrilled when they realised the book was about them! All the children enjoyed meeting the Junior Infants and learning about them. The Fifth class students read and presented their book to the child that they were partnered with. The Junior Infants took the books home and we hope they will be treasure them.

The boys and girls had a brilliant day in Imaginosity and Marley Park - despite the showers of rain! Thank you to all of our parent helpers on the day!
Room 9 Butterflies!
The boys and girls in room 9 have been enjoying watching their caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies. Today we released our butterflies into the wild in the school garden. Keep an eye out in your garden you might spot them dropping by for some nectar.
