We had great day for our annual school sponsored walk on Sunday the 17th of April in the Phoenix Park. We were very lucky to have a bright beautiful morning for our walk and it was fantastic to see so many families from Scoil Thomáis turn out to support the event. As the participants finished the walk, their efforts were rewarded with refreshments organised by the Parents Association.

We are so proud and delighted with our four quiz team members who made Scoil Thomáis history yesterday, Sunday 10th of April. The pupils pictured were the very first Scoil Thomáis quiz team to ever make it to the All-Ireland Credit Union Quiz Final which was held in the RDS. They have worked so diligently along with their mentor Ms. Travers over the past few months.
Congratulations on your fantastic achievement and well done for being such fantastic ambassadors for our school!
Many thanks to everyone in Scoil Thomáis who baked or bought cakes for the Parents Association Bake Sale!
It was a great success!
Chess enthusiasts from 4th to 6th class have been competing at chess matches since the middle of February during break times. This would not have been possible without the strategic planning and organisation of two pupils from Ms. Boland’s 6th class, Caoimhe Harrington and Aaron Martin. The championship reached a final stage today and a spellbound audience watched the finalists in a thrilling final. Both players had beaten many opponents in order to get into the final and a great chess match was guaranteed. Congratulations to the ultimate winner, who after a daring sequence of moves, swooped in with his queen and won the championship. Well done to all the participants and thank you to Ms. Steen, Ms. Boland and Ms. Kerrigan for supervision
