Halloween in Room 8
Over the past couple of weeks the children in Room 8 have been very busy with all things Autumn and Halloween. From sorting the Autumn colours, finger painting autumn pictures to creating spooky pumpkin pictures, clay spiders and fabric and fibre mummies. The children have enjoyed learning about Halloween traditions, games and particularly songs and poems in English agus as Gaeilge. It was also a lot of fun dressing up in our costume shop!
A very Happy Halloween from the children in Room 8. MUAH HA HA HA!!

Halloween in Room 9
We’ve been having a great time getting ready for Halloween in Room 9!
We designed pumpkin faces using 2d shapes and used these to help us pick a face for our class pumpkin! We carved our pumpkin and learned all about the different parts- the pulp, the seeds, the stem and the skin. When we were finished we put a candle inside it and lit it up!
We’ve been very busy making clay spiders and bats and dressing up in funny Halloween costumes during Aistear time this week!
Happy Halloween everyone!
