Autumn in Room 7

The Junior Infants in Room 7 were very busy during Autumn! They collected leaves to do some leaf rubbings for our autumn tree and to make our leaf men. They created stained glass hedgehogs and they planted some daffodil bulbs with the help of Eamonn. We should see them popping up in early spring.

We’re also getting ready for Halloween and the children are getting great use out of the Junior Infant Halloween shop! Happy Halloween from all the Junior Infants!

Planting Bulbs in Junior Infants

On Wednesday the Junior Infant classes planted daffodil bulbs outside the windows of Room 9 and 10. We can’t wait to see them bloom in spring. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for them!

The Three Little Pigs

The boys and girls in Rooms 7 and 8 enjoyed creating their own Three Little Pigs houses last week. They used shredded yellow paper for the straw house, lollipop sticks for the stick house and squares of coloured paper for the brick house.

We think you will agree that they all did a great job!
