Junior Infant Sports Day

Junior Infants had loads of fun on their Sports Day - check out the video to see what some of them got up to!

Games in the Past (Room 6)

The boys and girls in Ms Scally’s Junior Infant's class have been learning all about games and toys from the past.

They loved trying out the following games in the yard:

- Spud and spoon races.

- Donkey.

- Ring board.

- Skittles (bowling)

Paired Reading

Pupils in Ms. Scally’s Junior Infants class and in Ms. Boyce’s 6th class have been meeting up to engage in paired reading. Both class levels enjoy working together and new friendships have been formed!

We look forward to meeting up again soon!

Grandparents Day

The Junior Infants in rooms 6, 7 and 8 had a wonderful time with their grandparents, who visited the children in their classrooms this week!

Thank you to all of the grandparents who came in to visit!

A Doctor's Visit to Room 6

We are learning all about the doctor’s surgery in Aistear. Rory’s mam Denise came to visit Room 6 and told us about her job as a nurse in Temple Street Hospital. We were so excited to hear a heart beating using a stethoscope. Denise showed us lots of other things like her uniform, bandages, syringes and how to put on a sling!
