Super Senior Infants have been super busy!
Children in Room 4 have been making bird feeders as new signs of spring appear.
Room 4 read the story of Hansel and Gretel. We acted out the story. They also used their maths skills to construct their own version of the gingerbread house using Lego to make a sturdy structure. In addition to this, they designed and made a new gingerbread house for Hansel, Gretel and their dad to live in using art materials.
Ms Kelly’s Senior Infants and Mr O’ Mahony’s 4th class teamed up to enjoy some buddy reading in celebration of World Book Day.
Science Week in Room 6

To celebrate Science Week, Senior Infants in Room 6 did some science experiments. They made raisins dance in soda water and an egg float in water by adding salt. They also made a rainbow by adding warm water to a plate of skittles and they turned white flowers pink and yellow by adding food colouring to the water they were in. They all had great fun!
