Thank You!

Thank you so much to all of the families who so generously donated goods for the St Vincent de Paul food appeal - we were overwhelmed with the response this year! Thank you to the Parents Association for organising the collection, sorting the food and boxing up the goods too.

Needy families in the area will benefit greatly from your generosity. Thank you.

Bake Sale Success!

sized P1020665

Thank you SO much to absolutely everyone who baked, brought and bought at our fundraising Bake Sale today, Friday 16th of October. We raised a fantastic amount of money - €1,876. We were delighted to be able to purchase a defribrillator with the money which will be installed in the school over the coming weeks.

A very special thank you to Scoil Thomáis Parents Association for all of their help with organising and running the Bake Sale.

Parents Association

Welcome to the Scoil Thomais Parents Association webpage!

About the Parents Association
One of our roles as a Parents Association is to support the school with regards to their fundraising activities. However, we also engage in many independent activities throughout the year as well as sponsoring school specific activities. These range from hosting Communion and Confirmation receptions for the pupils and their families to sponsoring various prizes and activities for students throughout the year. We have excellent lines of communication with the school with whom we have monthly meetings. We also provide parental views and input on policies, ideas and school activities. If you would like a copy of the Parents Association Constitution, please contact us by email at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Useful Websites for Parents

Volunteers for PA activities

Please note that we are often looking for volunteers to assist in PA driven activities. If you are interested in getting involved in any of the activities, please sign up using the online sheet, contact a committee member or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. We will then add you to the PA mailing list which the volunteer sign-up sheets are distributed through. It is a nice way to get involved in your child’s school and to meet other parents. We would encourage parents to take part in one event per school year.

Brennan’s Pupil Insurance
We would like to remind parents that under this policy, pupils are covered 24/7, which therefore includes accidents which may occur outside school hours. To make a claim on this policy, please contact Geraldine, our school secretary to request a claim form.
