PROPOSED NEW SECONDARY SCHOOL
The Dept. of Education has announced that a new Secondary School for Castleknock/Carpenterstown will open in September 2017. The site for the school has not been finalised at this stage. The Dept. of Education & Skills invites expressions of interest from Patron Bodies seeking to take charge of the new school.
Parents who wish to support an application by CEIST (Patron Body for Catholic Second Level Schools) for a co-educational Catholic Secondary School are invited to an Information Meeting next Monday 23rd May at 8.15pmin the Community Centre attached to St Patrick’s Primary School, Diswellstown. The meeting will last approx. 1 hour.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL PARENTS
Parents with children in Classes 1st – 5th will be invited to complete an expression of interest form to nominate the patronage options that they would like to see in charge of the new school and submit online or in hard copy. The Department of Education and Skills will consider factors such as parental preferences when deciding on the patronage of the new school.
