Ms. Rushe’s 3rd class had a fun-filled first week back in school. They really embraced well-being week and championed the message of Bí Cineálta throughout our school. The children started their week with a walk to Blanchardstown, visiting the playground and having a little picnic on their way. This was a lovely opportunity for the children to catch up after the Easter break. The children enjoyed “Drop Everything and Meditate”, mindful colouring and board game activities during the week. They had lots of laughs comparing their colourful socks. They ended the week with some very relaxing yoga, a visit to their Senior Infants friends in Ms. Callaghan’s class and a discussion around Autism awareness. The children completed their gratitude journals at the end of each day, reflecting on their thoughts and feelings about how the day had gone. A fantastic week was had by all and Ms. Rushe’s 3rd class are now ready to attack their last term in 3rd class with energy and enthusiasm.
