On February 23rd two teams represented Scoil Thomais at the Community Credit Union Schools Quiz at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Blanchardstown. Out of 52 teams from across the Dublin region, both teams got to the top 5 positions, with one of those qualifying for the CUDA National Finals which took place in Portlaoise on Saturday 28th. That latter team got placed joint 7th, having competed against schools across the whole country. School Thomais is so very proud of both teams, from the 6th Classes, who worked very hard since Christmas preparing for the quizzes. There is another quiz coming up shortly which will include some 5th Class pupils too. We’d like to thank Mr Kelly for his hard work in preparing the quiz panel and for supporting the teams at both events.
