On Sunday, September 6th, our school choir had the honour of being invited to perform at the Music for Peace concert in the National Concert Hall. Our 39 choir members were delighted to have the opportunity to sing in such a prestigious and iconic venue.
The event was hosted by Oliver Callan, while the children were privileged to hear an inspiring speech from award-winning actor Stephen Rea. It was a truly memorable occasion and a fantastic experience for all involved. The concert provided a wonderful opportunity for our choir to come together and marked a very special start to the new school year.
A sincere thank you to Ms. Rushe, Mr. Kelly and Sinéad O’Donnell, our choir co-ordinator, for accompanying and supporting the children throughout the day.
We are incredibly proud of our choir and look forward to another wonderful year of singing, performing and making memories together.
